“Scheduling the initial appointment was like pulling teeth. Really persistent about getting their co-pay well in advance of your visit. Scheduled a video call, sat on the call for 10 min until someone called to let me know that the provider was on vacation for the entire week and can't get me any results until the following week. They didn't know he was on vacation when they booked my visit? I will say the young lady at the front desk was quite pleasant and helpful, understood my frustration.”

“I wish my experience with Carlos Amaya at Hightop Health Atlanta had been better. While he knows the textbook basics, his care is entirely unadaptable. He speaks like he’s reciting memorized homework, and the second you step off-script or need him to improvise, he completely struggles to adapt Before my out-of-state move, he assured me the transition would be easy. Instead, his only solution was a final 90-day supply that wasn't even available until after my move date. He explicitly offered to call the pharmacy to authorize an early release, but then completely ghosted me, ignoring my messages, and never making the call. Because of his inability to manage a changing situation, my dad had to pick up the medication and drive four hours to get it to me. Carlos does the bare minimum. If your situation is completely static, he’s decent enough, but the moment you need a provider who can actually adapt to real life changes, you are no longer his problem.”
